Blake Wimmer, Au.D., ABAC, FAAA

Blake Wimmer is a dedicated and innovative Audiologist based in San Diego, California. With a Doctor of Audiology degree from Pacific University and a background in Speech Language Hearing Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Wimmer brings a comprehensive understanding of audiological and vestibular care.

With experience in multiple specialties, Dr. Wimmer is proficient in comprehensive audiological evaluations, vestibular examinations, pediatric audiology, and implantable technology. Dr. Wimmer’s professional journey includes clinical experience at institutions such as Children’s Hospital Orange County, Rady Children’s Hospital, and Newport Mesa Audiology Balance and Ear Institute.

Certified and licensed in California, Dr. Wimmer’s expertise extends to advanced audiological practices including hearing aid evaluation and fitting, tinnitus evaluation, cerumen management, and the use of cutting-edge audiological technology and software. Dr. Wimmer is also proficient in real-ear verification, auditory brainstem response, otoacoustic emissions, videonystagmography, and various other diagnostic techniques.

As a former president of the Student Academy of Audiology’s Pacific Chapter and a student ambassador at Pacific University, Dr. Wimmer has demonstrated strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with a passion for advancing the field of audiology.

Natalie Woodward – Audiology Assistant

Natalie graduated from California State University, San Marcos in 2020 with a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and a M.S. in Health Sciences at Northern Illinois University in 2024.

In 2022, Natalie participated in a humanitarian trip to Krakow, Poland, where she conducted hearing screenings for Ukrainian refugees and Polish school children. This experience deepened her commitment to serving those in need and highlighted the importance of accessible hearing care.

As an audiology assistant, Natalie works closely with audiologists to provide top-notch patient care. She is also skilled in conducting in-house hearing aid repairs, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective solutions for their hearing needs.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time playing pickleball, and collecting vinyl records.
